The City of Kyle has a policy in place to help residents who experienced water leaks in indoor and outdoor plumbing during the recent winter storm events.
The City of Kyle’s Water Leak Adjustment Policy has been in place since 2010 and allows Kyle water customers — commercial and residential — to pay a lower rate in the event of a leak.
The financial impact from water leaks due to the storm will appear on City of Kyle utility customers’ next utility bills which will be sent at the end of March 2021 and will be due by April 15, 2021.
Those that had broken water pipes or experienced water leaks in their plumbing system due to the freezing temperatures, will need to complete a water leak adjustment request form, available in English and Spanish. The form can be completed online at the links below:
