HAYS CISD DASHBOARD

Hays CISD also maintains a COVID dashboard. To date, 17 staff and 29 students have tested positive for COVID-19.

The Hays CISD COVID dashboard reflects the positive case-count data reported to the Texas Education Agency each Monday for the previous week. The dashboard information is provided to show trends of reportable positive cases at campuses and in the district as a whole.

It should not be considered a means to receive an official COVID-related notification. Upon confirmation of a reportable positive case at a campus, the entire campus is immediately and directly notified via email. People considered to have been in close contact with the individual who tested positive are also notified immediately and directly that they may have been exposed.

To count as a reportable case, it must be a lab-confirmed positive result and the individual must have been on a Hays CISD campus during their infectious period (48-hours prior to showing symptoms). The reporting date for the case is the date on which Hays CISD was notified of the positive test result.
